Art Corps: Volunteers

Volunteers Needed to Teach Art Corps!

Jerabek is about to start another exciting year with this very successful parent-funded program. It is a hands-on art experience for your children, taught by parent volunteers. YOU make this program a reality through your support. ART CORPSTM is a developmental art program that teaches children the fundamentals of art. With 8 easy-to-teach lesson plans and art workshops, you can help bring this program to your child's classroom.

You do not need a teaching or art background!
  • Volunteers attend (8) 1-hour-long workshops to learn how to teach these lessons in the classroom. Lessons and manuals are supplied. Workshops are flexible and you may bring your children.

  • Volunteers then need to plan to teach approximately (10) art lessons in the classroom that can last 1-2 hours each. (Some lessons require 2 sessions to complete).
Our goal is to have a minimum of 2 volunteers per classroom. (4 volunteers in grades 4 & 5). Volunteers are then able to share the responsibilities.
